A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.
根据法国电影《贝利叶一家》的翻拍，美国导演夏安·海德非常成功的将原作嫁接入了美国的土壤，并且将这个关乎家庭、残障与梦想的故事，用有趣且充满细节的镜头，展现出了家庭亲情关系间朴实真挚的情愫，使《健听女孩》在润物细无声间带来了不逊于原作的感动。
本片讲的是过程的挣扎与不舍，歌还可以，父亲演得挺有意思的，其他的不好也不坏，最后打着手语唱歌那段让我感动了。

很多人惊讶年迈的奥斯卡竟然把奖给了这么“小”的一个片子。它是某类圣丹斯or美国独立小片儿的样子，自然熨帖，真心觉得比《驾驶我的车》里那种无甚卵用的互文和辗转反侧看起来要舒服得多。渔夫设定确实好，带着海风的气息和潮湿（包括患病），这些怪咖之感搭配点到即止的感情拉扯，再次印证了“不整事儿”的真诚。总之爱是幸运爱是奇迹值得被一再书写。
几乎完全照搬法国版。推荐法国版，至少先看法国版。
看到最后， 不知道这个CODA指的具体是什么。。。。。可能是没有认真看吧。 实在没有能力让自己认真看下去。
聋哑人家庭里唯一的健全孩子真是一个新颖的切入点，亲情羁绊和追求梦想之间的冲突其实是比较俗套了，但原生家庭的巨大困境赋予了这个故事更厚重的情感，无论女主如何选择似乎都可以理解，当然影片最终还是让家庭成员之间达成和解迎来一个皆大欢喜的结局。新颖的角度和演员们出色的演技让这部心灵鸡汤的治愈度很高，但似乎也没有好到拿奥斯卡最佳影片的地步。
看到最后有一种美国音乐版《垫底辣妹》的感觉，一家人的羁绊很深我懂，但是总体给人一种不够深刻的感觉。全片最触动我的点是小姑娘说：别把一切怪我头上。作为失聪家庭唯一的健全小孩承受了翻译，劳作，保卫家庭的义务，自己的小我被牺牲，这如果是我，早就窒息了。没有资格去自私任性的青春是我心中的题眼。不过片子没有放大这样的矛盾还是让她顺利追梦去了。比起这条故事线我对哥哥和女同学的恋爱很感兴趣。妈妈真是太美了！
简简单单的音乐喜剧片，“当梦想和现实碰撞，选择哪一条路走”几乎是全世界有梦青少年都会遇到的艰难抉择，只要被你信赖的人支持走下去，梦不一定成真，但至少能上路。喜欢片中的温情感，家常感，还有很好听的OST。
传统的美国中学生青春励志故事，但我很吃这套XD 想到了前两年的《金属之音》，大家是不是发现了听力障碍之于电影音乐的新用途
看好艾米莉亚·琼斯，是朱迪福斯特接班人！ 妈妈表演真棒，可爱阳光的母亲。
特别是因为太害怕而不敢尝试的，
居然超越原版了，那段伯克利面试真得太太太催泪了，奥斯卡最佳影片实至名归，看完太正能量满满了，最后那个车窗回眸手势简直太爱了！
我觉得女主能进伯克利，就像这部片子能进奥斯卡一样难以置信🤔
我一直觉得 听觉可能是我最容易放弃的五感之一 但是对于听障来说 唉……
少女小渔的伯克利音乐学院梦想达成记。没有理查德国王的天才少女培养计划书 ，她却凭天赋，机遇，以及家里爱的气氛，趟出新人生路。全片节奏舒畅，演出自然，同类青春成长题材的佼佼者。
Either actually show how problems are solved or don't oversell the struggle. Being extremely easy to watch ain't a virtue.
不愧是奥斯卡
48/100。聋哑家庭和音乐梦想这个主要矛盾设置得很好。全片对聋哑家庭的描述都很生动，能让人看到他们的无助，却又依然热爱生活。不过高潮缺乏足够的情感张力。影片设置了问题和矛盾，却又一直努力去逃避问题和矛盾，展现的都是美好的东西，但这便冲淡了影片的真实性，简简单单地就考上了伯克利，这让观众难以完全产生共情。另外女主的人设并不很讨喜，缺少礼貌，赌气和男友出去玩间接导致父亲和哥哥被罚，却还说这不能怨她。而且男朋友这个角色没有什么作用，对女主的人物塑造、对影片主题的表达都意义不大。可能是豆瓣年度冷门佳片第一的位置让我对这部电影的期待过高了，这种完完全全的鸡汤电影让我蛮失望的。
