The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 最后一点，想过度解读下：印度裔少年奔忙学业可以压制内心情愫，他未来会成为一名工程师；而美国“废柴少年”还在多愁善感，他未来会成为一名有朋友的人。他们都有美好的未来吧。
